History

J. Silva & Costa, Lda.

J. Silva & Costa, Lda has over 40 years of history. Founded in 1968, it's activity was initially shirt production and knitwear trading.

After several changes and mutations, it was in 1975 that the company assumed it's today's structure, and began designing and producing clothing for babies and children, under the brand JUNIOR SHOP.

Ever since that time the brand JUNIOR SHOP is synonym of high-quality clothing, mainly classic style, to be worn at special occasions.

JUNIOR SHOP is therefore a company with great experience in children clothing, continuously developing, since then, two collections per year.

It produces all kinds of fabric garments (dresses, skirts, pants, blouses, coats, jackets, ...), more focused on the casual chic and classic.

Situated in Oliveira de Azeméis (Portugal), JUNIOR SHOP reaches all parts of the country, through its numerous clients, mostly multi-brand children clothes retail stores, and abroad.

Furthermore, we have developed skills to create designs according to directions provided by our clients (developing all subsequent work of scheduling patterns, looking for fabrics, etc..), who, after approval, put in their orders.
We have a large production capacity and the know-how of production / labelling / packaging for major retailers, including exportation.

The challenges presented by the global market led the company to focus its strategy on two fronts:
Satisfying orders at the best delivery time.
Adjust the products design to each market.

The goal of this “electronic window” is to broaden our visibility both domestically and internationally.
